Dan moved to the Lake Norman area in 2010 from the Pittsburgh area. He is proud to have been with Liberty Prep since it opened doors in 2010 and enjoys his role as Dean of School. Dan has a background in education, having earned his Master's degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and then spending the next 10 years working in Higher Education prior to joining the Liberty Prep team.

Dan grew up in Michigan, went to Michigan Technological University for his undergraduate degree, and met his wife, Amber in graduate school. Together they lived in several places in Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh area where Amber is from, before settling in the Lake Norman area in 2010. They love the area, don't miss the northern winters (at all...not even a little bit), and unless called elsewhere, plan to stay in the area. Dan enjoys being active in the pursuit of the calling in his life, which is part of the reason he came to Liberty Prep.

He and his wife enjoy traveling and time with family, as well as the outdoors, movies, reading, relaxing with friends, and their dog, Dexter.

Ashley Davis was born and raised in Georgia (Go Dawgs!) but moved to sunny Florida to pursue an acting dream at Walt Disney World. She loved being a part of the entertainment team but also found a love for teaching through Disney's Youth Education Series. Ashley led students through acting, improv and other classes part-time while still acting at the various Disney theme parks. After marrying her husband, Mark, (an amazing and patient man), she moved to North Carolina where she served as youth and children's pastor at her church. Ashley continued to teach theatre through various homeschool academies and arts-based companies. After moving to Mooresville in 2015, her family discovered Liberty Prep, the best school on the planet (in her humble opinion). Ashley teaches theatre classes, communications and is the Student Activities Coordinator for LPCA's upper school.

Mark and Ashley have two boys, Cooper and Zeke, who are basically the best things ever. In her spare time, she loves yoga (she is a certified YogaFit instructor), costuming, theme parties, hosting and emceeing events, and eating delicious, non-healthy food. She looks to her favorite verse, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10, as a mandate for living each day.
